When I made this piece I was in the midst of my senior year of college, stressed about a million things at once. I wanted to make a piece where I was the main focus with a blurry background which represents tuning out the noise in life and remaining focused. I gave it an edgy, slightly editorial feel.

For this piece, I wanted to highlight the anxieties that women face on a daily basis. I was inspired by dadaism to make an abstract collage that depicts how women must always look pretty to fit the beauty standards through the male gaze. No matter how infuriating it is, we must make it look pretty.
